120V is AC power, the 2001 has a DC motor, so feeding 120 into the motor wouldn't work. If you mean feeding 120 into the Rectifier, that (I am sure) could potentially do some damage. Jeb or Ian know more about this, I'm sure they could give you some info on that.

The controller is OK. It appears to be set up for the usual 3 minute steady, wail and fast wail plus a 1 minute steady maybe for testing or ?. So far, so good.

Good, at this point it really shouldn't have issues because the SRNB series isn't that old. I believe it started in 2004 and was discontinued in 2008? Correct me if I'm wrong.

No you can't run a 48 VDC motor on 120 VAC. All you'll do is produce smoke.

Oops... I think I got the motors confused. It's the model 2 that uses the same chopper motor as the thunderbolt and the 2001 that shared (Or did in the older models) the same rotator motor.

Yes, the Model 2 has the same chopper as the Thunderbolt and all 4 gens of the -SRN model share the same rotator. The SRNB and beyond dropped the rotator for a direct drive one.

Thanks for the help, guys, the 2001SRNB now has a new owner. I'm told it will soon be returned to service in a nearby community.

Cool! I always love it when a siren goes back into service.
