Interesting...a guy in the home my great grandfather stayed in temporarily was from Auburn. When the FD's nearby 5 went off for 6:00 PM, he said he remembers hearing that growing up. Sorry for the de-rail. Do you know where the sirens all went, EOWS?

Welcome to NY! Glad you got treated to an STH-10! As Mark said, It's STH-10 country up here, and Model 2/5's are pretty arguable too.
Most other places you find a Thunderbolt, even a dual toned siren, and it's nothing. Here, you find a Thunderbolt (outside of Long Island) and its the hot topic here.
By the way Justie, are you talking about this STH-10?
yep thats the one! as of today i heard it go off a total of 4 times 2 yesterday 2 today i got 3 out of the 4 videos as the last time i heard it it was at a work site far away from the station my smart phone barely heard it from the church a few miles down the road from that station. so you guys are the experts I personally think that STH is 3 phase but on 208V ill just have to upload the videos but with my current loacation the internet where im staying is limited and my lap top is not to fond of doing much of anything that involves massive amounts of data ill try to upload them as soon as possible. the reason im up here is my parents set up a mission trip funded by my church back home where we go to the Onadoga reservation and do "odd jobs" for the residents and its really fun. when i got the first 2 videos of it i was bouncing off the walls (i suffer from ADHD ) and knew i had to show you guys now that i have three i hope to get them uploaded for you guys to enjoy!
According to my signature ive been 16 years old for the past two years.Apparently i have found the Fountain of Youth

Yeah, it seems sometimes that one goes off frequently. It could also be that you were up there on a Monday (drill night for most FDs...)

Let's get back on topic everyone. Anyway, here is a pic of the modulator that is sounding. It is a 1st Gen model 3012. BTW: I did A little more hunting on google maps and it turns out Latham Fire has a second station with a Model 5/7(T) out back.
