It doesn't look refurbished, so is say a couple hundred to a thousand (don't take my word for it) in value. Did they always use the alert function? I gotta imagine they didn't at one point or another, so the solenoids shouldn't be in terrible shape (I hope). Good luck on getting it, wish you the best!
As far as I know they only used the alert on it. I'm not even sure the solenoids were ever used. As there is a small model 5 on Oregon's water tower that would have been used for fire calls in time immemorial.

I am highly interested in a 500AT if any come down. I am not sure how I would be able to get it here to southwest Missouri, but I am interested.

By the way guys, here's the Dane county siren map and list, in case you don't have the link: https://www.countyofdane.com/emergency/sirens/

We do have one on the map here, hopefully I'll learn of the fate of it tomorrow. I think transportation will be on us. But at this point it doesn't look like we'll be paying takedown and value of the siren. (#106 on the siren list)

If I wasn't in oregon and had more space I would save a siren. Already I admit pushing it with a possible blower...

Two of 500AT's have been replaced last year so they are long gone. There is only 1 left

I guess I meant I would be interested in the last one.

I'm thinking that it is most likely a later A2 (Iregon's) to answer your question. I'm glad you're trying to get it; I would have loved to get that one, but not even having a driver's permit yet is blocking me the most. By the way, if someone is interested in a siren, will they have to buy it from the County, or do they not care? Hope you get that 1003 and 3T22.

I've got a couple of questions for your guys if you can help me out:
1: Were the Pref+Penetrator's battery back up?
1b: Are their parts available?
The Pref + Penetrators basically used a big undisturbed power supply as their battery backup. The siren head itself should be similar to the RM-130 aside from the motor. From what I understand they use the same rotator as the Alertor /Penetrator 10/15. It should run off the grid on 3 phase 240 VAC just fine. IDK about the inverter, but you can probably find things like the chain for the rotator. That's all I got.
