MOD's aren't used too much, and T-128's are usually a very big pick. I think thunderbolts are better in tornado
siren systems and Civil defence systems in my opinion. The 508 is a pretty big siren, but I already know of alot
of nuclear installations using them.

9M's Thunderbolts in Oswego, NY. Single phase and working when removed, I'd imagine. Could use some for a system here, if our EMA ever cared enough...
The only problem with them is some have a very gross "prison green" color to them.

I have a question, why do they name is after miles? And the green color is probably to let you know
its specifically in their system only. A picture would be nice? 8)

This is all I could find at the moment, sorry: http://goo.gl/maps/e2Dt6
As for their other sirens, here is a nice looking white/silver 1003:
Edit: I added some photos from Google street view via Google earth, so they may be better to see the ugly green.

I feel like the the Mystery ACA/ASC Siren (Which was used in places such as the US Department of Energy in Oak Ridge) here seems like the perfect nuclear siren. I think that because it and its design seem to fit my perspective of nuclear sirens.

I think Three Mile Island's sirens are good. They use a mixture of ASCs, most of them Cyclones but I think they might use a T-128 here and there

Three Mile Island's Cyclones and P-10s have been removed and replaced for a while now I believe. All they have is T-128's now.

I think a nuclear power plant should have p-50s And Whelen 2900s mounted right next to each other. Then you have a large loud siren that will get people's attention, then you use the Whelen to make an announcement as to what is going on. And yes, I know they don't maunfacter the p-50 any more but, yeah, just my idea. I Understand that it's not very feasible, but if you could get your hands on a few p-50s, It might work, I don't know though.
