There's a Mobil Directo in Toronto on a Police Station. In fact, it is said to have moved from time to time.

There's at least one with a pair of sirens - Crewe, VA's municipal building/police station combo has a 3V8 and a 3016 hanging out behind it. I have conflicting signals on their statuses - I was told the 3016 was inactive, and then sent a recording of the 3V8 sounding for a fire call, but the Whelen has rotated within the last couple of years according to imagery.

I know this says "Police Stations With Sirens", but found this site with the City of Hereford showing the Fire Dept. many years ago. The SD-10 is actually still in use, though it is in sad shape and was moved to a location south of town in 1982 when the city installed the system of Cyclones. Guess for being a 50+ year old siren and it still works shows how well they were built. The Police station is right across the street. Don't know what happened to the other siren. Not sure what it is. Sterling? The SD-10 was used as a tornado warning siren and the other was used to call the FD. All of the buildings shown have since been demolished and a new FD was built in this location in the mid 80's. No sirens on them anymore.

You can see what the SD-10 looks like today in this video of ours. Fast forward to about the 2:00 minute mark. Just video. No audio.

The ten air horns are seen here on the roof of the Mount Shasta, California, police station. The fire department is behind it. Until 2004, there was a tower on the roof above the main entrance with a fire bell at the top and an Erick siren at the bottom. The bell is now on the wall by the bay doors of the fire station, but the siren has disappeared.

The police station in carlton OR has a siren on it as well as the fire station. One of them is a model 5? And the other looks like a sterling M5.
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.

Here is one I remember from my travels:

The police station in Alabaster, Alabama has an ancient Federal Model 3 on a little truss tower on it's roof. I have photos of it somewhere, I will have to go find them...
