Is that Mobil Directo still up in St. Catharines? Years ago there was a rumour there was an Allertor in St. Catharines, but no one could ever confirm.

Thanks for the information! I knew the museum had one and was meaning to go take a look but I thought it was a Mobil Directo. I think they said it was the same as the park but I do like the CLM better!

No problem! And while I was down there the curator said they have another one, but I couldn't find it.

This siren and all the other random ones that are and were scattered around. They had lists of all of them and they managed to miss so many. I think the one CLM in Toronto was missed because of tree coverage. Some i guess would have been alot to remove but some were so simple top take down. I'm very glad they did miss some or we wouldn't have any today to collect.

The Mobil Directo has a slight lean, I asked the city if it is dangerous and might be removed, and they said it is safe and will not be removed in the near feauture.

Also, I'm going to try to get the CLM put on display In the museum instead of hiding in collections.

Those larger caged poles that housed the Mobil Directo and CLMs are honestly installed and build like a tank. They are solid steel and when I took my CLM off one that was already on the ground it look me hours and many metal cicular saw blades to get it free. I wish I could have taken that pole to the scrapper but nicely enough the gentleman after me that scrapped the pole sent me a check for $50 :thup: That pole isn't going anywhere and I also like to visit it when I drive though at least once a year.

I have never seen a sticker before! I will look for that. They usually just have a high voltage sign saying to keep off.

Yup! I took a picture of that too! I don't go to Toronto often, but I'm going to start looking out for some sirens when I do! Usually I just forget to look.
