EOWS Siren Controller Differences?

Why does Hawaii only have EOWS? And why the 612? I think it would be cheaper to have 1-2 EOWS 816's than 4-5 EOWS 612's in, lets say, a small city.

EOWS 612s and 1212s aren't the only sirens that Hawaii has. The majority of thier system is Modulators, then they have DSAs, ASC IForces, Thunderbolt 1000Ts, STH-10s, STL-10s, RSH-10s, SD-10s, Model 5s, Model 5Ts, Model 2s, 2T22s, and a lone 2001-SRN. Almost every siren made by FS you can find on the Hawaiian Islands, which is one of the reasons Hawaii is on my bucket list of places to go.

Im not sure if this is correct or not, I'm just guessing. I don't know why the 408 wasn't popular, but the 812 probably wasn't popular because of how huge it was. I don't know how many 408's or 812's were sold.

Actually no, because it was the smallest. Smaller model=less range, at least on an EMA perspective, but the controls are still expensive. Remember that it was still new, the technology was new, although rushed, so it was probably more expensive than quite a few other sirens.

Don't sell it or give it away - this is probably the only known EOWS 408 (or 404) in existence!
You should mount it on your house or something and give it a spin!

I remembere that there are more, just no videos of a factory made one. If you search the board, you'll find them.
I don't recall there being a 404 siren. I know Whelen makes the 4004.
