I remember a news video of one of those on YouTube years ago. It was in Sacremento and it malfunctioned. People wanted it replaced but the fire chief said it stays as long as it works. It sounded like 10 ports if I remember correctly. Cannot find the video anywhere now unfortunately.

It sure does look like a HOR in the housing. Did Decot copy it?

I have a few HOR Company siren photos and one advertisement spanning from 1942 to the early 1950s - none of their vertical sirens look like what's shown in the Youtube video.
It's difficult to see the Sacramento siren's internal workings. I see one row of ports but everything else is obscured.

Did Decot sirens come standard with Peerless motors by any chance or did they come standard with motors made by Westinghouse

The Red Arrows built by Theodore Decot originally used Valley Electric motors. Later Red Arrows used a different type of motor made by an as-yet unidentified company.
The sirens made by Decot Engineering Works (Photo Record Equipment Co.) used Westinghouse motors.

This has already been established. And that grammar needs work.
