Go to thee siren archive, Wisconsin, Dane County, Madison, first one is the HOR, click on the little speaker logo, there you go, enjoy!

This Super Sirex is still active, always tests. I always have loved their growly sound at windup, very powerful, I want to hear it in person sometime! :lol:

If someone could post a direct link to the video, that would be nice!

Darn it.. at first I thought I was going to have something exciting at first... I was gonna upload the recording from the Siren Contest and upload it and impress everyone.... I didn't realize it was up at the Siren Archive. Ohh well..

Speaking of HOR's... I stumbled onto this picture of the firehouse in Port Dickson, NY.... it looks like they were trying to hide thier HOR.. I guess it is a HOR at least? The horns are surely big!!

I think that Greg N. has posted a recording of a single-head HOR siren, on the old board.

It kinda looks like that in that Firehouse picture with the HOR siren that either one of the trucks came back from a call, or one of the trucks is going out for a call

It seems like the only variant missing is the recording of a dual head/dual tone Super Sirex.

I remember seeing one for sale on ebay a few years ago. I thought about getting it, but the price was 3 grand or something.
