The Siren Board

NJC in Sterling also has what appears to be a Fedeal Model 3 on a building west of Blue Spruce hall. It isnt active though, probably due to one of Sterlings 15v2T's is about a block and a half from it.

Interesting! I didn't know they had a Model 3! Thanks!

When im in Sterling next week ill try and get a picture for clarification of whether its a model 3 or not.

You wouldn't happen to be talking about this, would you? Not the best picture, but I'm pretty sure it's a vent. I saw it when I was in Sterling in 2010 and it's just west of Blue Spruce Hall. If I remember correctly, it is on some white ducting that comes out of the building. Link to it on Street View.

That'd be it. I debated on whether it was a siren or a vent. Tha k you for the clarification.

Pretty sure that's a Model 1 siren.

Sterling, CO has a good amount of sirens (Sentry's). If you are interested, I can give you the model's and locations.

Sure! For my OK map I added a list of contributors in the description, so I'll do that for this one as well.

As for the vent/Model 1 debate, I'll have to go with vent. I don't think there's a single siren in Colorado that's that rusty due to the dry air.
