I wonder if Ohio and Illinois will increase to have an evening test on tornado drills in the future. Illinois had theirs already which the 1st Tuesday in March. I think that is a little early for a tornado drill in the Midwest but that's not my choice. And Iowa's I heard is Wednesday just a heads up.

Actually, we just had some severe storms roll through here, and they spawned some twisters. I'm in Illinois, by the way.

Depends. I'm doing one of the two yellow P-50's in Milwaukee for one of the tests. The other is to be determined.

Will anyone be near Dane County that day? They still have a Perf+ Penetrator left unless they replaced it over the winter.

Hadn't planned on touring Dane County - unless there was another delay with new installations, I was certain most of their old sirens were replaced by now.
I suppose it would be wisest to record any older siren before they are removed - all those 2001s and Tempests will be around for a while.

Unless my plans change I'll be recording in Beaver Dam, either the SD-10 or a system recording near the hills. It largely depends on the weather forecast.

My mom works in Fitchburg, I can ask her to go to the Perf+Penetrator in Mount Horeb for 6:55 (That's the only one that I know about that hasn't been replaced yet)

Back around 1994, 1998 & 2003? OH did a late afternoon/early evening drill arond 4:30 PM in addition to the 10AM drill (at least Wood County did; cant remember elsewhere)
