You know, I am really glad that they decided to keep the Segoe Rd. location. With the 2001 literally right down the street on Tokay, I almost figured they would have simply removed the 3T22 from service without finding a replacement. Props to the county for the added coverage.

Why a T-112? Why not a T-121? A T-112 is basically a T-121 minus the horns.

Model 7's they replaced. I also found a 3rd T-112 on Buckeye Road
That's in front of someones house. They couldn't put it somewhere else?

They were replacing the sirens with those of equivalent range. T-112s are going to be a few thousand dollars cheaper than a T-121, so there was no need to have something bigger considering that they have get about the same range as the Model 5s they replaced. It's the same reason why they purchased Equinoxes last year in conjunction with 508s for areas that didn't need the extra power.

The siren before the T-112 a Model 7. That model 7 has been there for ages, I remember going to school (which was right across the street) and having it go off for the statewide drill 14 years ago and it had been there for quite some time before that obviously.

Oh ok. Yeah I get it, so they're just trying to keep costs down while still little bit upgrading the coverage range.
