The Siren Board

I once heard the now-defunct Model 5 in Vale, Oregon, at a distance of four miles, but it was barely audible and I was outdoors.

There's an old 5B about 4.6 miles away from my house, and I'm impressed by how clearly it can be heard, even from indoors.
