As soon as the control is switched to test, the solenoid (K102) fires and blows the fuse. I am trying to work through the circuit it protects.

Double check with the diagram and make sure that the solenoid is connected to the fuses in the correct way. The solinoid might be bad and frying the fuse. Then again it could be the incorrrect type of fuse or an issue with something else. Just follow the diagram to check everything out. If it's wired properly, there is a bad component somewhere causing the issue. Track it down and tell us what you find.

Looking at the RC6 picture and the 3T22 manual, seems like he is using the right fuses. Those appear to be some sort of Bussman 10 amp fuses.
