They are Federal Signal Model 7's to be tied into the system that are Pre-existing fire sirens at local fire departments.TBoyer1999 wrote: ↑Sat May 12, 2018 1:38 amPretty interesting info, thanks for sharing!
For the “114dBC” sirens, I am wondering if these are Banshees or something else.
Holy *****!Remingtoncountry wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 3:54 pmFor what it's worth, supposedly Cook Nuclear power plant in Michigan supposedly had a square horn Hurricane at some point.
A Hurricane 130? That's a rarity! Do you know where the sirens are stored or what happened to them?Remingtoncountry wrote:For what it's worth, supposedly Cook Nuclear power plant in Michigan supposedly had a square horn Hurricane at some point.
Yeah! That'd be awesome to ask for. I'll have to ask the main offices/warning office. Of course, it's possible they went to West Shore and got scrapped. I'll ask some of the staff.MaineCivilDefense wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 1:34 amA possibility could be that the sirens are stored in a warehouse at the plant site, or that the sirens were sold to municipalities. This is also what i am assuming had happened to the sirens that were part of the nuclear power plant that was in my state as well.
Is there any way you could contact them? You could E-Mail them & maybe they'll tell you what happened to them. Perhaps they could be for sale if they are still in storage.
