Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000ASC in Lombard, IL at the Fire Department Station 2. This one is perfectly healthy, on chopper level 4, and has a 4M C-Series Blower. Here is my video when I recorded it in June 2021 with WindyCitySirens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LaubsjCTwI
I never seen the pipes on the side of a thunderbolt

I’m pretty sure everyone knows this one. If you don’t, here’s the title.

ACA Hurricane 130 MKII in Darien, Illinois. This one has since been replaced by an ASC T-128, but is mounted on the blower pipe of the Hurricane. It is also painted a dark grey color. The photos were taken on April 11, 2021.
That is a famous siren i think it only had one glitch when it activated the blower started but the chopper was delayed

Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 in Bloomington, Minnesota. I revisited this because the last time I went, it was cloudy and my photos were kinda grainy. So here they are! The siren is inactive, and it’s been replaced by a 2001-130 a block away.
