Well I got on google earth about an hour ago to check if those Chryslers where still there, and sadly, ONE IS STILL THERE!!!!!!!! :D :D   :!: :!: :!: As of about a week ago (When they updated the pictures), the one on the U.S army records building is still there. I might go check tommorow. I found another Thunderbolt, this one is at Pinkhil park in Blue Springs. By the softball pitch. Both of the T-Bolts in Blue Springs are single tone also. I think that 2001 is near stadiums.

City of KCMO has tons of sirens (right around 140)-all are FS 2001's. And yes, they used all thunderbolts prior to 2000.

i've seen many sirens mounted accross the street from peoples' houses like that. There was even a picture of a WPS 2806 right on someone's front yard somewhere

One of the Fire Stations in Parkville, MO has a 2001 very close to the window of they're sleeping quarters. The station is right off 45 highway I think. Next time I'm over that way, I will try to snag a pic of it. It's literally a few feet from the glass!

are you serious? Thats insane. I just think this 2001 is pretty close but dang that is close in parkville. You know the siren looked alot closer to those lofts seeing it 1/4 mile away from the highway coming nto downtown.

I've seen that one you shot before just passing by on the highway, but I didnt realize it was that close. Surely that has to irritate the residents when KCFD or KCEM activates it! The one in parkville is litterally inches from the window. I was reading over they're city council minutes, and they had talked about repositioning it at one point because it was ticking the fire personnel off..don't know how far they got with it though. Guess I'll find out in a couple days.

There is a 2001 in Independnce about 50 ft. from 4 houses. That was also Independnce's last Thunderbolt stood 'til 2003 or so. Adding to those Thunderbolts in Blue Springs and Liberty and the xt22s in Sugar Creek, 2t22boy told me about some Model 5s, STH-10s, an EOWS 612, and a Modulater on the Kansas side. Oh, there is some kind of siren at the Lake City Ammuntion Plant, it's either a Sentry, a xt22, or a 1212. I'd tell you for sure, but it's at the heart of the plant and all I have are Google Earth pics.

I've seen it to. That thing is way too close! Last night there was a reported tornado in Jackson County, It was about a mile outside of Lee's Summit whitch has a bunch of 2001-SRNBs and one Allertor 125. The Gladstone and Liberty area got struck to, all I found out there where a 2001-SRNB and a Thunderbolt 1000t. Belton also got hit and I'm not sure what sirens they've got but I do know that the current/old system had OLD sirens in it and there replacing them with Modulaters. Cameron also came close to being hit, no clue what type of sirens they have.

Check out the KC Chrysler with MS Virt Earth...great detail
