You sir are a true hero. Thank you for saving such an old siren from scrap! That's a very early Type B as others have said. Are there any ID tags still left on it?

I would take the motor to a motor shop. This will allow them to check the condition of the motor and determine if the windings are in good shape. With a motor that old, I wouldn't be surprised if the armature and windings need some work. If it's 3 phase, there will be less of a headache than a single phase motor of the same vintage.
