That got my blood pumping, I love severe weather. My heart goes out to those affected, of course. However, I always look forward to severe weather in my area and secretly hope the storm approaching intensifies. I should become a storm spotter, I believe my county is having a storm spotters training course in February, I'll have to look into it.

BTW, here is a video of some Thunderbolts(?) in Lawrence roaring for a Tornado Warning in 1994...this was before Douglas County became all 2001s.

Douglas County/Lawrence is one of those communities that sounds the sirens be zones...which is why a 2001 starts up late.
*This was in 2003*
EDIT:
The siren you hear in the beginning (Faintly) is this:

I'm sorry, but those girls are hilarious! They must be out-of-towners.
I'm visually impaired, so I can't see the photos. Could you please tell me if those are in deed 2001's? They sure sound like 2001's to me.

Great video, but the sirens sounding would be enough to say: "Get into the bloody basement NOW!".

I'm surprised they didn't get into the basement with the Tornado being that close. I would have got a little bit of footage and then jetted to the bathroom or something.
I just noticed, they all say 'Oh My God' like 1,000 Times throughout the video...see how many you can count.
