Is ACA's Banshee 115 same as Federal Signal's 2t22?

Both are basically "bench grinder" sirens standing on end. There are only so many ways to build a siren, even with different port ratios and sound-projecting apparati.

You highly doubt what?

Simply having the same port ratios as another, similar device isn't substantial enough to start a patent infringement case. It may be similar in design in some respects to the 2T22 but it's certainly not patent infringing. I have yet to see a patent relating to the 2T22 or the 3T22 and I can't see any major similarities between the two devices, apart from their configuration.

Agreed. If either Fed. Sig. or Am. Sig. had a patent on this 'bench grinder' type, then there'd be a problem.

(Beercan and Underware) a/k/a ACA as Soundmaster called Biersach and Niedermeyer didn't make many if any Super Banshee Sirens.....Attorney Jim Morgan of Madison, Wisconsin (Deceased) started Soundmaster and it pretty much died with him in the 1970's.....

Those 20HP rigs are almost indestructable if they withstand deep freeze conditions that bend the motor shafts or burn up the motors.....

Yes they are similar to Federal Signal 2T22's but there is a major difference in design and construction as well as specs...
