There is a 2001 on the 18th story of the Barnes and Thronburg building in Indianapolis, look under the large transmission tower. I don't know how well it can be heard right in downtown. Brandon put a live local picture up a while ago about it, but I thought I'd put up this photo. I figure this siren will most likely be moving since they all will be on public property by the time the new system is up and running. I imagine this one could move to the top of the city/county building.

There is a 1003 in Bloomington, MN that is on a 25 story building, you can't even see it until the horn gets to the right spot.

I'd love to see a T-135 on the Sears Tower

I dont think a siren on the sears tower would be all that loud, it is after all 1450 feet from the ground to the roof. I dunno. I do know that one of the 2001's near the Sears tower is now gone, that I do know.

Matt,
There is also a Thunderbolt 1000T just north of that location on the Richard G. Lugar Towers, a 15 story city government owned low-income housing building. The photo link is listed below. Since this is a building owned by the local city government, I believe that this same location might recieve a new siren when the system is installed. I'm not sure if the government would be willing to install the new siren up on top due to the expense involved in that. On the contrary, if they were to install it on the grounds, part of it's sound field would be blocked by the building, keeping certain areas in the dark in siren coverage.

BTW, take a look at my karma now. Still some jerk out there lowering it.

I think i know what one your talking about. It has been removed now, a new 2001-130 has been installed on a pole next to the building, btw the pole is very short for some reason

Way to bring up a SEVEN year old topic. I think that might be a new record.

To be fair, it is new information that is relevant to the thread.
