I wish our EM was like this one, having this volunteer program and maps of the system and...information! Our county website just says "Sirens are intended to alert those outdoors of an emergency situation such as a Severe Weather event or National Emergency."

Unofficially yes. I call the EMA whenever I go to a siren and it does not work properly but I cannot commit to watching a specific siren each month because I never know what siren I will be able to be at let alone if I can be at any that month.
