Atkins, AR in Pope county has at least three Thunderbolts that are still in operation.

No matter what, there's always gonna be some Thunderbolts in operation. Remember that a bijillion of them had to be produced, it's gonna be a long time before 0% of all Thunderbolts won't sound regularly.

If you could ever get a much larger image of that with the Thunderbolt off to the right and the scenery in the background, that would be quite a picture for a desktop background. :)

I believe Shawnee County has about 15 Thunderbolts (Most being 1000s). One is supposed to be replaced any day now:(, it has had serious problems lately. Leavenworth City and County have tons of Thunderbolts. Johnson County (Mainly Merriam) has Thunderbolts. Coffey County used to have some, I have heard they have been replaced. Same as Emporia(Lyon County). Oh! Sedgwick (Wichita City) has a bunch as well.
