I wouldn't try running that at full power unanchored and uncovered. That would be dangerous. That 2T sounds good.
You're right with it being anchored down and being ran on 240 volts it will probably knock it self over or move around the floor even more.

If you hook it up to your RCM with the RCM main hooked up to 240 you can vary the pitch with the chopper transformer.

I wouldn't know where to get or how to make an adapter to cover the bottom to force air thru it.

They should have made the Model 2T run at such a slow speed; that would have sounded so good! The slight echoing adds to the tone.
