I think that the square-horned Hurricane siren would at least have a somewhat less fuller tone than the MKII Hurricane siren, because the circular horn seems to have less volume in each horn-throat.
B.T.W., I remember Adam Pollak post a picture of the mouth of the siren, on the old board.

That square horned Hurricane 130 picture looks phony. Might not be, but it just does.

Adam P. posted it himself. I doubt he'd photoshop it.

There's more than one picture of it. They were all posted a while back on the old board and others on the board have seen it.

Anyway, that squarehorn really resembles the T-bolt. No wonder Federal sued ACA for that, so they churned out that round-horn thingymgbob

Oh, I know it's not phony(no really I don't). But, even if it isn't, it just looks odd. Must be just the quality of the shot, and the odd shaped siren. No biggie.

I'm not so sure Federal sued ACA for that since I believe the Hurricane was produced prior to the Thunderbolt. Can someone verify this please?

Yeah i thought ACA sued Federal because the Hurricane came
before the Thunderbolt.
But if Federal sued ACA, it would make sense that they changed to a
round-horned model..
