Wow. The last post on this thread was over 5 years ago.
How can you even find something this old to make a one sentence reply to? :crazy:
And the reply is about two sirens that you don't even know if they are still used.

The cartoon is funny as hell but the thing is: It's kind of too damn bad if it's too loud. If yo don't like it you shouldn't have come into a city with one. There again too if the department uses it even just for a backup, or between certain hours that's fine. But if "you don't like it because it's too loud waaaaahhh" then too bad. It's the safest and most reliable way at the time of this comment.
