I forget who, but someone here said that Arizona State has 4 omni-directional Whelens.
Yeah, there's that one on Calhoun Hall, then there's also one on the EPA building. UC also has a warning system through their fire alarms.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

Off-topic: that Whelen 2900 on the light pole on the third page looks like the one that soccerdude7330 has picture of. I think the town was Clarksville, TN.

Does anyone know if Indiana State has sirens? I know that Terre Haute has zero sirens but does the college have some?

  • The emergency alarm, a wailing siren, is sounded throughout campus and the Terre Haute are in the case a tornado being sighted in the area. Some Residence halls have an alarm system that will announce the warning along with the siren sounding. The emergency alarm is usually tested the first Tuesday of every month at 11:00 a.m.
I did some searching on Live Maps, but couldn't find anything.

Nice grammar on that web page, way to go ISU! :)

I've been wondering if ISU had sirens as well. I will have to ask my friend that goes there, although he will not know what type of siren it is.

There is a P-15 in Oxford, but it's not actually on the Miami University campus. There aren't any sirens on the MU campus to my knowledge.
