NanSiren wrote:Not AFAIK. tboltkid520 could give you a better answer. I know Austin gave our old T-Bolts to surrounding communities. I'd seen one waiting to be put up in Rose Creek.
You have 2001's now?

Yep. I still miss our 'Bolts though.

Lakeville has one just next to the interstate,

St. Paul had one (ca. 2000) on top of a tower on the state fairgrounds.

St. Paul seems to still have all their CD sirens

I haven't heard of any 2001's being there

Are any of Rochester's t-bolts still standing? I know they got replaced by 2001's
Rochester's SD10/2T22/Thunderbolt/EOWS-612 system got replaced in 1993 with a full system of 2001s, except for the two EOWS sirens, which were replaced with 6-cell Modulators earlier this year.

As far as I know that Thunderbolt 1000 is still standing on top of the building at the State Fairgrounds. I may remember having seen a 2001 in St. paul before, but i'm not definite on that one.

I've found a couple Thunderbolts in Southern Minnesota (and the search continues). Hope the links work, this is my first time trying this.

Great pictures! I know, as NanSiren said, that the communities surrounding Austin have some of Austin's old Thunderbolts, that might be a good area to look.

Thanks, I took box and blower shots too but I'm trying to save space on my Flickr account. I'll keep my eyes open for the old Austin T Bolts.
