Now I am curious if it might be a HOR SuperSirex, or a Federal 550AT?Mac wrote:So far I haven't gotten exact info, but I know the siren's location, rough price, annnnddd-----*drum roll*----- It is a Dual-Headed Horizontal Siren!
It could be a sterling, or that big B&M siren that Adam found awhile back. I forget but I was reading a post about St Louis awhile back and it featured a dual headed siren.500AT wrote:Now I am curious if it might be a HOR SuperSirex, or a Federal 550AT?Mac wrote:So far I haven't gotten exact info, but I know the siren's location, rough price, annnnddd-----*drum roll*----- It is a Dual-Headed Horizontal Siren!
Or it could be a Canadian made Carter siren. They were fairly common back in the day and their were several different companies building them out of Toronto. Thats my best guess...Crazywarriorman wrote:It could be a sterling, or that big B&M siren that Adam found awhile back. The siren shown in that map appears to be one of the 20/24 port versions, rather than the more usual 10/12. It would be interesting to see a 20/24 port model up close if that is indeed what you are getting.Model2 wrote:Ahh yes, I know this one! The Canadian Carter is what I call it. Many spotted around Ontario & British Columbia.
