I was wondering the same thing about the Allertors! I might record and film them sometime!

Great map. Any operational status of the Thunderbolt 1000Ts and any operational status of the Allertors?
Nothing firm other than what's noted

Alright, thanks. I am hoping to catch one of their tests, but I am caught up with schoolwork these days. I will probably catch the Shearon Harris 3 minute alert test 2 weeks later. Thanks for the info!

I have a question about some sirens on the map.
1. Are the Omni-Alerts for Douglas Intl an airport system like LaGuardias' , or is it the bases' system? And if they are, shouldn't they be on the military sirens sub-layer?
2. I think the sirens at Lake Lure should be on the Storm Sirens sublayer.
Thanks

I have a new College Siren Location at DTCC (Durham Technical Community College).

It appears to be a Whelen WPS-2902. Feel free to correct me.

How do you know it's a 2902? There isn't any way you can see it from GSV

Edit: Oh nevermind, I see.

IIRC, you're half right because the screens inside are smaller, but it looks like a 2903.

Gotcha. It looked like a 2902 when I saw it in person.

Hi Jason, the removed SD-10 in downtown Durham actually got removed from 2015 to 2018. The Google Maps view from 2015 shows it, but 2018 version does not.

Is anyone going to add the EOWS 612s near the lake? It would be really nice to have actual photo evidence of these sirens. I don't go boating too much lately, due to school.
P.S: Is anyone going to record the April 2021 Harris test? I am.
