So I found this along Leedsburg Pike in Great Falls, VA while I was visiting Washington D.C. this weekend. I passed it a few times as my hotel was in Potomac Falls. It might not even be a siren but does anyone have any ideas?

It looks like a pole mounted transmitter or something.

Looks like a vent to me. Looks too small to be a siren.
I recognize the motor. It's a very old and exposed to the weather Sterling M5 which appears to be missing a rotor, backing plate and both stators and housing pieces

Could it be a 2hp H.O.R?

It might be related to those wacky ADT Clear Voice sirens.

Here's something in Ashland City, TN. I'm 100% positive on the opinion that it's a siren due to the fact that I can make out a stator and chopper.

When Ian, Jeb, Matt, and I all met at Charlie's house, we did some exploring on StreetView and found this thing. We could never figure out exactly what it was, or if it was even a siren. I know somebody brought up the possibility of it being a Whirlwind, but I'm not too familiar with those.
