EDIT : Also found another Whelen 2908 part of the Brunswick System 34.04026, -77.94595

7 more Brunswick Whelens' remain undocumented.
Good finds, all added! Crazy to think there are only 7 more Brunswick sirens remaining. I got lucky with the Shearon-Harris plant, Harnett county GIS had all of the sirens plotted on one of their map layers.

Since McGuire; thankfully, had roughly 15-20 some sirens undocumented, it was a lot less challenging to find undocumented siren sites in the McGuire area than in the Brunswick area. :D

Notes for Brunswick : I haven't found the supposed siren around the nuclear facility. I skimmed the proposed area to no avail. I only know (from analyzing site numbers) that there is one more siren in Oak Island. There's likely a few along or nearby NC 133 as Half Hell and Antioch don't appear to have a siren anywhere.

Now, for a few corrections on the map.

You marked a Brunswick Whelen at the Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson building as a military siren.

And finally, a few of the NPP sirens aren't labeled by manufacturer and model. A few are just "Point (insert random number here)".

Sirens added and corrections made. You are right about one having to be in those areas. I've looked as well to no avail

Great news! Found the last Brunswick Whelen in Oak Island; which turned out to be a Whelen 2910, and while searching around, I also found another Whelen 2908 around the Antioch area.

Oak Island = 33.91773, -78.12564 - Whelen WPS-2910 - In someone's backyard...

Antioch = 34.01377, -78.13011 - Whelen WPS-2908- Now in someone's frontyard!

Leaves 3 more Whelens' yet to be discovered.

Added. That Oak Island location is insane! I'm willing to bet they pay that property owner to locate the siren on their land

Vander and grays creek are no longer tested and are now broken in some way. Vanders flasher is dead and the rotator for grays creek is toast. They are also currently inactive per the chiefs. Grays creek VFD has a whelen OA1(?) at a new station built across the street.

That's a shame to hear but unfortunately no surprise. Hopefully Vander will replace their siren and someone can get their hands on their 1003, the last in NC. Map updated

Just finished with a large update for the NC Siren Map! I have over 150 new locations and updates, with most going to former sirens, although a large amount of new sirens have been found! I'm still working on the map, but at this point going forward, its only going to be a small update here or there as I've documented the vast majority of current and former sirens as I can.

Somewhere on the map added in the update is a bonus "giant church siren" and the only EMS/Rescue Squad siren known in the state.
