I got a message today from a YouTube user named OhioSirenHunter, and was in the area recently and saw some sirens. He said that he went to Seton High School to see the SD-10 on top, and said it was gone!

I wonder if removals have started...and of course there is now a T-128 at Seton High School.

To my knowledge they still haven't replaced the T-Bolt by my house. I'll have to swing by there later and see if it's still there.

Do you guys think they will cancel the test for July 4th?

Did they do that in 2007? Although they did sound for a storm warning that afternoon.

I'm not completely sure, but i think they did. For the 4th im goin down to Edgewood to record one of their redicuisly placed 2001-DC's. There are 3 in all and each is placed only a half mile away from the other.

They did officially cancel it. According to WCPO, it was canceled both because it's a holiday and also because it's the opening day for the
World Choir Games. Apparently they don't want to scare all the people who are in town for that (and of course it's too much effort to simply explain what's going on...).

Was it just something they quickly said on TV? Just wondering since I don't see anything on their website about that.

Yes, they briefly mentioned it on the noon news. Todd Portune posted about it on a blog on Cincinnati.com though:

Finally got around to taking pics of the T128 on Salem.
This is too close to the road for my tastes, especially since the curb is so low. One erratic driver smashes into the pole and the siren will be toast.
