This unit is located in Otis Colorado next to their fire department. I'm guessing it's just a banshee missing its shroud. I heard it going off last week and it sounded similar to the video of the one recorded in Monroe Nebraska but with a faster windup. (Ot) there is also an old sterling downtown right off hwy 34 by the truss plant if anyone's interested.

Actually that is a Sentry 3V8 missing it's "skirt", kind of a cool look for it!

Sorry if this or a similar siren has already been posted. Didn't really feel like flipping through 107 pages to confirm/deny.

Here's a couple pictures I took of a siren I found while exploring small central TX towns. Maybe it's just a custom housing the town whipped together for an ordinary siren (Denver or Sterling maybe). I tried looking through the bottom planks but they blocked view of the siren within the housing. I've never seen anything like this before. It's located by an old fire station in Rosebud, TX.

My girlfriend does not understand this at all. Actually I really don't either.

I found this in Clinton, AR

I have no idea what this is, but if anyone does know does it make the same sound as the siren heard here at 0:33?:

The one on the Google is a Whelen OmniAlert OA1. The one in the video is a rotating Whelen of some sort.

This town is almost too small to have two sirens, I would think. But thank you

They may be using the OA1 as a fire siren.
