Doh, I meant Darley. Those two get mixed up in my head too easily. Definitely has the horn shape of a Darley, I even had the one in St. Anthony pictured in my head.

Weird one, it looks like a Darley Model 2 but it's much smaller. Perhaps this is their version of the Model 1? This looked to be barely larger than a Model L.

It looks like a Federal Signal Model X but the top louver looks different. The siren is located in Union Grove, WI.

The older one really looks like someone put vents on four sides of the pole. The newer style one looks like a cross between a Whelen and an ASC i-Force.

After seeing a recent article from Facebook it's safe to say that this is an LRAD 360X-1, 320 Watt omni-directional PA. Here is a link to their PDF on the series: http://www.lradx.com/pdf/LRAD_360X_Datasheet.pdf

It looks like a Model 5 with some custom work on the top, the door is even there on the side.

NICE FIND, DJ!

That said, they're not powerful at all. The 10-cell unit has a 70 db radius half that of a Whelen equivalent. But I'd love to see how they work. From looks (and I know you can't judge a book by its spine) they're playing with fire...and Whelen's patents.

They are using metric. The 10 cell one is rated 2200 meters, a little less than the 508. What's interesting is that they apparently don't market them over 4 cells anymore on their site.

However they seem to have them all listed on their Japanese site.

They also have a mini variant of the array called the 360XM. Cute little thing.

I'm noticing the same thing here where they only advertise up to two cells, but the Japanese site goes up to four and has different ranges.

Here's a strange little siren I found today in Ferdinand, Idaho. It is a little smaller than a Model 2 but appears to have an offset motor as though it had a gear train. Sorry about the low-res iPhone photos.

Definitely looks like a Model 2, the top of the chopper/collar along the bottom of it is a dead giveaway.
