The Siren Board

I was told it was too complicated and that the higher ups in Homeland security are connected and untouchable in the republican party.

Here's an example of how well this new system has been performing lately. Thefandude21 only heard 1 siren growl, just about all sirens within hearing range of his home do alert, but not as many of them do attack...

The siren in my town of New Lebanon, Ohio - a lone 2001-SRNB - only sounds Alert, while in Dayton their T-128s sound Attack. Strange how different areas of a county can sound different signals.

You would have to be talking about one of Dayton's suburbs, because to my knowledge, the City of Dayton no longer has a functioning siren system. I know Moraine has about 4 T-128s, but does anyone else in Montgomery County?

Dayton got somewhere between 9 and 15 T-128s in 2006, after the Dayton Mall tornado tore quite a bit of the old system to bits. I know it, since I lived in Dayton for close to 6 years. I also saw 2 of them on the way home from appliance shopping (our fridge died )

The suburb I live in is called New Lebanon, small enough that 1 siren covers it really well, and the sound goes farther from the siren than the town's borders.

There is also a 2T22 atop a fire house on the edge of the outskirts of Moraine. It's about 8ish minutes east of a Pizza Hut in the next town over.

The town next to New Lebanon has a 2001-SRN, and a Sterling M in poor condition. It does' however, have a metal roof over the whole siren. Pretty neat setup. There is a Werden P-127 north of New Lebanon, in Englewood down I-70 heading East.

Dayton has no siren system. There are 5 T-128 that I know of 4 in Moraine and 1 North of Dayton

Okay. Apparently Dayton has no sirens. Kettering, just south of dayton, has 9 T-128s, and at one time had 3 signal sirens. To prove this theory, their website said they use "the rising and falling tone for weather emergencies, and a hi-lo note for civil defense issues".

There's also Whright Patterson AFB, which has a system of either WPS-2800's or 2900's.

Also, can someone please list the locations (Addresses) of the Kettering and Moraine sirens???

I only know where 2 of Moraine's T-128's are located:
Springboro Rd. in front of Montgomery County Solid Waste
Dryden Rd. in front of Enting Water Conditioning

They also have:
Model 5-corner of Gladstone St & Cloverlawn Ave next to Moraine City Baptist Church
Thunderbolt-Moraine Fire Station 28(Viking Ln)
2T22-Pinnacle Rd near Vance Rd
