Well, here are some siren pics from the last week. I went out near Montgomery again for a doctors appointment and saw a two T-128's, then just yesterday went on a downtown siren hunt.

Then I went to the top of the Carew Tower and snapped some pics, you could see EVERY SINGLE SIREN I took pics of from up there! I'll only show one pic:

That is pretty cool. If a tornado warning or test were recorded up there it would be pretty cool.

Uh, mrboojay? You haven't seen my video of the test from up there? Check on my channel.

There's a new T-128 near the coal power plant near lawrenceburg, the T-128 is on the east end near some water tanks.

French Park Thunderbolt

Thu Nov 01, 2012 10:41 pm

After a job interview today out on Ridge Road, I was headed back towards Ronald Reagan Highway. When I came to the intersection of Section Road and Ridge Road, I decided to drive through French Park to see if the Thunderbolt was still there and it wasn't. In fact, the little house it was attached to was gone. I did see the replacement T-128 though. It is located on Section Road, just past the Ridge Road intersection. It is a good thing that I filmed it when I did.

I wonder if the Thunderbolt was taken down before the building was demolished. I would imagine so.

Are you talking about the power plant in the southwest corner of the county near North Bend? If so, that's Miami Fort.

I haven't been out that way in years (I worked at that plant the summer after my senior year in high school through some summer job program that they had for children of the power company's employees), but the only sirens I know of in that area are a Model 7 with weird housing in Elizabethtown and an STL-10 in Cleves.

Went to a concert up in Liberty Township last night and discovered 3 sirens that I didn't know about (or at least that I had forgotten about):

T-128 on Commons Drive just north of Kemper (next to Tri-County Mall)

2001 on the west side of Princeton-Glendale Road (SR 747) just south of the railroad crossing

2001 on the east side of Lesourdsville-West Chester Road a little ways south of Princeton Road
