Richard, I believe these are the Tbolts you are talking about. They are low ,but not extremely low.

You can't tell in the photos but these are about 2 to 3 feet lower than the regular phone poles.

It's almost scary to stand next to a siren so low. It feels like it could go off any second.

Well I found a Model 2/2T on a pole in Long Lake South Dakota that is on a Small Pole, Take a Gander for yourselves

This Thunderbolt in Amber, Oklahoma is about 15 feet up.

The Thunderbolt in Woodlawn is about as low as that. I guess that would also be a good one to record. :D

Iv'e seen an EOWS Back in the Woods somewhere...Maounted no More than 7 feet Up off of the Ground. I have a Pic of it, Just can't Find it, It's Buried In Here Somewhere...
