What part of town are you going to be in, and is there anything in particular you want to see? We can point you in the direction of some of the more interesting sirens...
The Sirens closest to where Im going are:

Clifton School
Calhoun hall
Awberk Library

So I'm pretty much by UC.

Ah.

If you have time to stop on the way down, there's a Model A (I think) a mile or so west of I-71 on SR 63 in Harveysburg. There's also a 2001 on I-71 at US-68 near Wilmington.

They finally removed the Thunderbolt at Beechmont and Markley! Cleared a bunch of trees around the area, too. Now the T-128 really stands out.

Time to watch for more siren removals I guess. Wonder if the existing T-128s and 2001s will actually get the control upgrades.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

I'd like to know what sort of shape that T-bolt's in. Seemed like it was in excellent condition last time I heard it.

And was the mounting bracket really bending backward, or was it in good shape?

Well, I went to Cincy today, I only saw a few sirens, so here are the main highlights.

The P-15 at the Cincinnati-Lunken Airport which 4J25 recorded in 2007 or so.

The ASC T-128 that replaced that P-15.

And one more thing, there happens to be a new ASC T-128 at the Big Boy Buffet at Wooster Pike and Southern Ave.... Does anyone know about this one?

That T-128 at Wooster Pike & Southern Ave is in Fairfax, so it would be the replacement for the Model 5 on top of their municipal building, which was originally supposed to be a rooftop replacement.

3 weeks later and the power switch is still turned off. I wonder what the heck is taking them so long?
