Awe, I just love it when there is a new post on Post your Mystery Sirens here. But it certainly does look like a Decot.

Also, Synther, call the EMA and ask them when they test it C: I wan't a better view of it. Nothing better then a test of a mystery siren!

Looks more like a naked Model 3 to me. That lip around the top of the stator is a giveaway, and Decot's are a lot bigger than that thing in the picture.

True, and I realise, when I went to the actual map: https://www.google.com/maps/@38.8859171 ... 328!8i1664 It doesn't look like it.. so I don't know what it is.. Seems like whatever it is, it is missing half of its casing.

That "lip" i'm seeing might actually be a little custom roof thing to cover the rotor. Still i say Model 3.

It doesn't look anything like a Decot Red Arrow or the later sirens made by Decot Engineering Works of St Paul, MN.
The stator shape is completely different, as is what can be seen of the motor. Without a better quality picture it will be hard to tell what the siren really is.

There were some early Model 3's which had no cover except a welded top plate with a lifting eye. Air intake was at the bottom of the rotor.

Interesting. Not that i'm doubting you, but do you have a clear picture of an early Model 3, like the one you specified?

I think it looks a bit like an Erick.

Ericks are larger than that.
