That looks like the tower of the City & County Building in the background, so someone in SLC could do a little hunting.

I acually live in Magna, a small town west of SLC. I also found an article HERE. You can see the locations of the sirens in the bottom right corner of the article. I searched there in Street View & Satelite imagrey but found nothing. Yeah, that motor housing looks too squat to be a 3V8.
