That's what I thought. I realized both of you were talking about the same one.

That was awesome! I love single tone Penetrators.

Is that the only siren in Tuscaloosa that isn't a 2001?

What an eerie ambience. If I had to take a stab, that's a mix of a dual-toned Mod (I don't sense any rotation in the single toned siren), single toned EOWS-612, and MAYBE a rotating Whelen in wail.

What a strange wind-down on that Mod during the pulsed steady. VERY strange.

If the closest siren in the Highland, IL video is a 612 with an Ultravoice controler, that thing is truckin'! I've never heard any other 612 rotate any faster than the standard 2 RPM setting.

I listened for the Whelen you were talking about, but I couldn't hear it. I think that all of the sirens in that video may be 612's with Ultravoice controlers.

NO there are about 7 in the city limits of tuscaloosa, and 2 more in brookwood. The majority of our sirens are 2001's though.

AND the sirens in mobile vid are on the U of Mobile campus... Mobile city has several yellow 2001's, thunderbolts, tbeams, and recently installed whelen 2910's << im sure the ambience is EPIC

P-15 on 480V in Tuscaloosa, AL. The echo is epic

Would love somebody to catch that one on test day, and even from that same location!

Booneville, AR TBolt in Attack

Man, I wish this video had been longer... Another one I'd love someone to film on test day!

Mobile, AL Modulators with creepy weird echo in Pulsed Steady, voice, and Wail

First time I've heard Mods do the Pulsed Steady - very creepy - I love it! The wind-down is really cool on those. But it's odd that it goes 2 rounds of Pulsed Steady, then to Wail.

Also from that vid...

VOICE: A tornado has been spotted in the immediate area.
MAN FILMING: There has not been.
That made me
Viva la Thunderbolt!
