Definitely a high-pitched T-bolt 1000 heard here, not a 2001; that wind down is a dead giveaway. In fact, I'm pretty sure all the sirens heard in that video are 1000s, all at different pitches.

Now that you mention it I went back and listened and realized that it's painfully apparent it's a 1000.

geesh, first I couldn't identify a 2t in a vid and now this. I must be losin' it.

Not as bad as when I couldn't recognize a 2T22. I went through ALL other possibilities besides a 2T22 and it was obvious.

When I heard the 2t in the pawhuska video, I was like, what is that siren? I've heard that sound before, but I just can't quite place it.

To top it off I've got a 2t installed behind my shop that goes off every Saturday.

Here's my recording from the 25th (finally). I apologize for the quality change about 35 seconds in. My camera battery died and I had to switch to my phone.

If this was another boring 2001 recording, I wouldn't have uploaded it. Because of the wind direction and probably a variety of other factors, I was able to hear a TON of sirens from my house. I live about .5 miles north of the northern-most siren in Indianapolis' system. It was pretty cool hear everything to my south winding down at the end. Also, if you listen carefully at the end, you can hear Carmel's system going off to my north. Enjoy!

Oh man that's a shame your camera batt died because that was one of the best recordings I have heard.

Bob Lemon. What an appropriate name for a stupid mayor.
