Robert's 2T22 is independently owned. Denver never had an Allertor, those were Englewood's and they are also replaced with 2001's.

The ones I am most upset about are the HOR's and the original Bumblebolts. :(

It's in Englewood, mistakenly labeled Denver.

I didn't think Denver had any Allertors, but that picture did say Denver. I knew Englewood had Allertors.

Can we just leave it that it's in Englewood and not Denver? Like is it really that hard?

I've learned to never rely on the Siren Archive for information about cities' sirens that I have no idea about.

Of course it's not hard! :x And yes we can leave it at Englewood. And yes the SirenArchive is not always that accurate.

Sad to hear that, i have only found one of Denver's 2001*130's since the last update on GE imagery. Hopefully i can find more during the next update.

Bad news guys... Seems that the city of Denver has finally removed all of their old sirens, leaving only the newer Federals in place. Found this statement on the EMA's webpage:
City of Denver Office of Emergency Management wrote:OLD WARNING SIREN REMOVAL WILL BE COMPLETED
July 23, 2013

Work has been underway over the past few months to remove 53 old
civil defense sirens across Denver, following last year’s installation of a
new siren system.

The final siren scheduled for removal will be July 23rd, at approximately
11:00 a.m. at George Washington High School, 655 South Monaco
Parkway in Denver.

Denver’s civil defense sirens were initially installed in the 1950s. The
new siren system was funded through a Capital Improvement Project
approved in 2010, and is expected to come in $400,000 under budget
at $1.6 million dollars. The new sirens provide better sound coverage
across the City, are more reliable, and easier to maintain.

People are reminded that if they hear outdoor warning sirens they
should immediately seek shelter and tune to local media for further
warning information or instructions. Tornado shelter should be a
basement or interior room away from windows.
Man that's sad. They used to have a big assorted system including some Allertors and Mobil Directos. But now all there are in Denver are 2001-130's.
Freak. What happened to the old sirens? Dont let them scrap it!

I'm working on seeing what they are doing with them. I'll post updates on here when I find out.
