^I'm pretty sure echo1030 was talking about the "Type 4" siren listed on this website. However that model looks much bigger than a Model 2, and the louvers are closer together than on the Model 2 housings in this thread. To me, the L.A. sirens look like modified Model 5s, especially since they have that door thing (for servicing the motor) on the side.

Type 4 is a model 3 or short motor model 5. That's a big housing.

We don't mean actual toys. It s just a joke a siren fan makes when they claim a siren. Don't worry though, I didn't understand what they ment by "toys" either! BTW, it isn't the best idea to bump topics/threads for any reason other than the intended purpose. Hope this helped!
