I have not yet found any on downtown Denver buildings.
Aurora (and many other communities across the nation) use the wail tone for tornado warnings. Its really up to communities to decide what tone they want to use for warnings or alerts, like here in Tullahoma we sound our Whelen sirens in steady tone alert mode in 3 minute intervals during tornado warnings but the city of McMinnville (city northeast of my county) sounds all of there Federal signal (4 2001's and 2 modulators) sirens in wail mode for 3 minute intervals during tornado warnings.Robert Gift, Order of ASB wrote:Whelen 3016 at I-225 and Mississippi Ave in Aurora, CO (Looking west)
One of 41 Whelen sirens throughout the city.

During Aurora's 7 p.m. 4-26 tornado warning (no tornado) the sirens wavered up and down, not up to a long steady tone, then down.
