How exactly would I be able to do something like this? I've got wavepad but im confused as where to go next.
I use a combination of WavePad and NCH Tone Generator, which I use for a pitch standard. First I calculate the frequency I want using [(n)(3450)]/60 for an American siren, or [(n)(2880)]/50 for a European one, where "n" equals the number of ports. Next, I take a single-tone siren mp3 or wav file that I downloaded or recorded and use WavePad's pitch change feature to get it to where I want it. Then I save it as a new file. I go back to the original file and do the same thing for the second (third, fourth?) tone, then mix paste everything together and add echo and reverb if necessary.

Heres another, a dual tone Federal Eclipse. Sounds like an SD-10. Especially at the wind down.

Nice job, I ESSPECIALLY love the Dual Tone Chrysler. Here's some from me using Wavepad. A Dual and Tri toned B&M Siro-Drift Super Chief.

I love all of your recordings. The Eclipse sounds a lot like a Banshee, while the super-high pitch tri-tone Siro-Drift was a very unique combination -- sounded like a dominant 7th in there somewhere.
The Chrysler should have been built that way.

That might be part of the reason why not that many were ever sold. Sirens had to be dual tone back then to receive federal funding.

I suppose that adding another row of ports would have seriously decreased the output, unless another compressor stage were added.

Here's a Sentry 15V3T "rumbler" siren -- a triple octave!

Here's one for you Daniel. What would a 6/5/4 tri-tone Thunderbolt sound like?

Thanks. I'm glad someone likes it. I thought it would be nice to hear dual tone, and tri tone of the B&M Siro-Drift Super Chief.
