They've already started using prerecorded messages on their Modulators... kinda. It sounds like they have a phone hooked up to the mic jack on the panel. Notice the water drop sound just before it starts talking. Also note, I'm not completely sure why they chose to purchase a few ASC I-Forces, as they have now fitted them too with UV controllers.
From what i recall, they also have satellite activation, the old system relied on a network of repeaters strung along the island, which wasn't very reliable and was prone to failure due to so many components being involved. In this situation cellular and satellite is a good idea.DJ2226 wrote:They've already started using prerecorded messages on their Modulators... kinda. They have their sirens setup to activate over the cell system (idiotic IMO), so most of the sirens were retrofitted with FCs and UVs to comply; that's why even sirens with MC and MCP controllers now have a UV. I think the focus now is to keep the 1212s, Mods, DSAs, and iForces up and replace the 612s along anything else that's mechanical.
A little off topic but, how do you post a YouTube video so that the video shows up? Im trying to post a video but I can only put the link.DJ2226 wrote:They've already started using prerecorded messages on their Modulators... kinda.
