I was thinking about going to see one of the Wilmington Whelens tomorrow for the test, but I've seen and heard them go off many times (I can hear them from my house). I heard them doing the airhorn tone for the SW tornado drill, so I already know what they'll sound like. I might head to Clarksville and see the Thunderbeam go off tomorrow because I've never seen one of those go off.
BTW, the Whelen OmniAlert in downtown still hasn't been hooked up yet. I'm not sure why. I drive by it almost everyday, so I look and see all the time.
