Wow that is an amazing array of sirens. I like the Darley (the Model 5 knockoff with the horns on the side). Does he have a website or a price list so I can window shop?

The "ROY G. BIV" Modulator. It is possible that someone ordered this siren like this from Federal Signal and it had never been installed.

The mod is not a factory paint job, I was told a local paint shop painted it.
If it was a factory job, the siren would still have the FS logo's on it.

I believe that maybe the 2001 from Canton Twp. I can remember hearing that someone who was driving with a .13 blood alcohol level, ran off Cherry Hill Road, at Beck and nailed the siren at that location. I am sure that his insurance company is just going to love him to no end for replacing that unit. The pole totaled his car out.

Most likely dual-tone, and 240/480 three-phase. Single-tone 500s are quite rare, and 10/12-ratio ones even rarer still.

I'm depressed and drooling.
But hope many will get good homes and TLC.

I contacted them for a couple siren models and the price for a thunderbolt 1003 is $2,500

That is a awful lot of money for an old siren isn't it? I doubt any FD would pay that much for an old unit when they can get a new unit for a few hundred more (3V8/ 3V8-H).
